SALT Oktoberfest 2023 - The Best Fest in the Pacific

The Oktoberfest fun at SALT will be happening on two nights, Saturday, September 23rd AND Saturday, September 30th! The festivities start at 5 p.m. and feature a stein hoisting competition by Samuel Adams (6 - 8 p.m.) and lively entertainment by Doolin Rakes & Zicke Zackes Trio. 🎵

Of course, there will be tons authentic German festival beers 🍺 for all to enjoy at the @villagebeer Beer Hall in The Barn.

Village 7th Anniversary

7 YEARS!

Hawaiian Craft Brewers Guild Extravaganza

The Hawaii craft brewing community came out strong to help support our amazing local craft brewers and the Hawaiian Craft Brewers Guild. With over 20 locally craft beers featured on draft at Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room, this was one of the largest showing of Hawaii brewed beers in one location at the same time. The event helped raised vital funds for the Hawaiian Craft Brewers Guild which represents our local brewers. The guild not only helps promote awareness about Hawaii brewed beer, but it also helps fight for more favorable laws and regulations for our small breweries.

A huge mahalo goes out to guild member breweries who not only brewed the amazing beers, but also showed up to share their beers with the crowd. Guild breweries on tap included Kauai Island Brewing, Kauai Beer Company, Lanikai Brewing Company, Inu Island Ales, Stewbum & Stonewall, Beer Lab HI, Honolulu Beerworks, Waikiki Brewing Co., Maui Brewing Co., Kohola Brewery, Big Island Brewhaus, Ola Brew Co., Mehana Brewing Co., Hawaii Nui Brewing.

It was amazing to see such a huge turnout to support Hawaii brewed beer and our local breweries. Big ups to Red Visual Magazine for taking the killer images again!

Modern Times Nelson Over Everything Honolulu

Modern Times Beer is back in the house at Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room for another amazing event Thursday, October 4th. Nelson Over Everything will feature a slew of draft beers that showcase the glorious hop Nelson Sauvin. Modern Times is a big fan of this fruity yet subtly spice New Zealand hop and for good reason, it’s delicious. Don’t miss some of these rare and one off kegs:

SALT at Our Kaka'ako Oktoberfest 2017

It was our biggest SALT Bar Crawl to date with a huge crowd enjoying 20+ German style beers, live music and brats from Hank's Haute Dogs. Thanks to all who came out for our Oktoberfest. The beer garden at Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room was packed all night and we saw some amazing stein hosting going on with Sierra Nevada. Next year...bigger and better, Prost!
